Iced coffee comes as the favorite beverage when it comes to quenching summer thirst and have a good cold drink. There are many ways to personalize the iced coffee according to one’s interest, that can be made easily at home and affordable as well.

Here are the five easy, quick recipes for iced coffee to prepare at home.

1. Traditional Iced Coffee

A simple and gratifying method to drink your coffee cold is to make the classic iced coffee. This is the best option for all those coffee lovers who enjoy the raw, unadulterated flavor of coffee. In this the sweetness and creaminess can be adjusted as per one’s taste requirements.

Ingredients:

1 cup of freshly brewed coffee, ice cubes, milk or cream (optional), and optional sugar or sweetness

Procedure:

  1. Make a cup of your preferred coffee first. This can be made using a French press or drip coffee maker or by any other method. Ensure to make a little stronger coffee to get a richer flavor.
  2. Allow your coffee to reach room temperature. It's imperative that you do this action to stop the ice from melting too soon and dilute your beverage.
  3. Place a few ice cubes in a glass. Your coffee will be less diluted the more ice you use.
  4. Pour the coffee over the ice.
  5. If you'd like your iced coffee creamier, add milk or cream. Use sugar or your preferred taste-testing sweetener to sweeten.
  6. Thoroughly stir your iced coffee and savour it

 2. Iced Coffee with Cold Brew

This is a less acidic and smooth cold brew iced coffee. The long steeping time allows the extraction of subtle coffee flavors and makes it a very delightful beverage for consumers. This method, though, takes more time. It is still worth the wait once.

Ingredients:

4 cups of cold water, 1 cup of coarsely ground coffee, ice cubes, milk or cream (optional), sugar or sweetener (optional).

Procedure:

  1. Take a big jar or pitcher and put the coarsely ground coffee & cold water into it. Stir the coffee grinds till it attains saturation.
  2. Place the pitcher or jar in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours with a lid on it.
  3. Now, strain the mixture with a fine mesh screen or coffee filter in order to remove all the coffee grounds. Once this is done, we have the strong coffee ready.
  4. In a glass with ice cubes, pour the cold brew concentrate and dilute it with water as needed.
  5. Now you can add sweetness, milk, or cream as per choice.
  6. Stir your beverage and savour the rich, velvety taste of cold brew.

3. Iced coffee with flavored syrup

It's an amazing idea to have additional layers of flavors by adding flavored syrups to iced coffee. These flavored syrups improve the coffee taste, regardless of what coffee you drink. You can have a Deep caramel taste or the traditional sweetness of vanilla.

4. Iced Coffee Latte

This is a beverage that is well-balanced and tastes gratifying, which evenly blends the rich taste of espresso with a creamy texture of milk. For this versatile drink, you can use any kind of milk or flavors as per one’s wish.

Ingredients:

5. Vietnam Iced Coffee

Vietnamese coffee is the go-to drink for all the coffee lovers who enjoy sipping a strong, sweet coffee. It is a dark roasted coffee with sweetened condensed milk that combines to give a unique flavor profile that is rich and powerful.

Ingredients:

Two teaspoons of dark roast coffee, ground coarsely,  2 tablespoons condensed milk that has been sweetened; Ice cubes;  Hot water

Guidelines:
  1. Use a drip coffee maker or a Vietnamese coffee filter (phin) to hold the coarsely ground coffee.
  2. Fill a glass halfway full with sweetened condensed milk.
  3. Pour the freshly brewed coffee straight into the condensed milk. Pour boiling water over the coffee grounds if using a phin. And let it drip slowly

  1. Stir: Make sure the coffee and condensed milk mixture are well combined once all of the coffee has seeped through.
    5. Add Ice: Put ice cubes in the glass.
